Houston Wedding Guest Accommodations for Large Groups
Ozark Houston is a Houston wedding guest house: overnight lodging for the people flying in for someone else’s ceremony. Four bedrooms, eight queen beds, 16 guests in real beds, a kitchen, and a 7×7 table. The house is in Riverside Terrace, about 10–15 minutes Downtown and 12–18 minutes to NRG if that is where the reception is.
This is not a wedding venue. We do not host ceremonies, receptions, showers, or after-parties on the property. Houston short-term rental rules and the house rules forbid using or advertising the home as an event space. You sleep here. You celebrate at the venue you already booked.

Hotel block vs one house for 16
A typical out-of-town guest block is eight doubles near the venue and a breakfast room. This house puts the core family — or the friends who flew in together — in one kitchen the night before. Getting-ready photos, a grocery run to HEB (five minutes), a quiet bedroom for the person who has to be at the venue at 9 AM.
It does not replace getting-ready suites at the venue if your planner already paid for those. It replaces the “we are spread across the 6th and 11th floors” problem for the people you actually want at breakfast.

Friday–Sunday as lodging, not a venue weekend
Friday: Guests land, code on the lock after 5 PM, grocery run, dinner at the table or a restaurant. No rehearsal dinner for 40 in the living room. If the rehearsal is at the venue, this house is where eight to sixteen people sleep after.
Saturday: Getting-ready can happen here for the people sleeping here — hair in a bedroom, bags in the hall, coffee in the kitchen. It cannot be the bridal suite for a 30-person glam squad plus a photographer lighting the facade. Leave for the venue with buffer. After the reception, the house is for sleep, not a second reception.
Sunday: Brunch you cook, or a restaurant, then 11:00 AM checkout. If the newlyweds want a late flight, that is a hotel-day-use problem or a conversation with us, not a default.
Logistics that actually matter
- Parking: street only. Bridal party + groomsmen + two rental vans will not fit “in the driveway.” There is no guest driveway. Confirm car count.
- Check-in: 5:00 PM–12:00 AM, smart lock. Friday-night arrivals after a delayed flight still work.
- Noise: residential street. No DJ, no yard. The night before can be dinner at the table; it cannot be a reception.
- Drive: Downtown venues 10–15 minutes typical; Museum District / Hermann Park area 8–12; NRG 12–18. Build buffer on wedding-day traffic.

What to tell us for a wedding weekend
Venue address, Friday arrival window, overnight names vs “plus ones still deciding,” and cars. If the planner wants a getting-ready house for 25 with a florist and a content crew, this is the wrong property. If you need 16 beds for out-of-town family who will be gone from 2 PM to midnight at the venue, this is the right property.
Send the venue pin. We will tell you whether 10–15 minutes is honest or whether Saturday construction makes it 25. We will not coordinate shuttles, but we will not pretend a Midtown loft and Riverside Terrace are the same commute.
