Stay Near NRG Stadium at Ozark Houston
Ozark Houston is a group house near NRG Stadium — about 12–18 minutes to NRG Park in normal traffic, longer after a Texans game, Rodeo concert, or sold-out show. You do not walk to the stadium from Riverside Terrace. You drive or rideshare, then come back to eight queen beds, a kitchen, and a living room that can take a 16-person roster.

What “near NRG” means from 3534 Ozark St.
NRG Stadium, NRG Center, and NRG Park sit southwest of us. Typical drive is 12–18 minutes via South Loop / Fannin-area routing. On Rodeo nights and NFL kickoff, budget 20–30 minutes and a rideshare surge. This still beats a Downtown hotel that is 15 minutes on a map and 40 minutes when the lot dumps onto 610.

Rodeo, Texans, concerts, FIFA 2026

When to leave the house
For a 7:00 PM kickoff or concert, leaving Ozark Street at 5:15–5:30 PM is the sane window if you are driving yourself and parking in an NRG lot. Rideshare at 5:45 PM still works on a normal Saturday and fails when surge and the South Loop stack. After the event, expect 20–40 minutes back. Smart lock helps if the group splits — one car can return at 10:30 PM, another at 12:50 AM, as long as the second arrival is still inside the check-in story you already have (first night must be by midnight unless we agreed otherwise).
METRORail serves the NRG area from other parts of town. It does not replace the car or Uber from Riverside Terrace. Do not plan a 16-person rail commute from this address.
The house after the event

- Kitchen for pre-game food and a midnight leftover spread (HEB about five minutes)
- Private gym and foosball so the night does not end in a hotel lobby
- Street parking only. Garage is not yours. Event weekends = more cars on the block; tell us if you are bringing 6+ vehicles
This is lodging, not a tailgate house. No PA, no yard party, no “we booked it for the afterparty.” Houston STR rules and the house rules are the same: sleep here, celebrate at the venue.
What to tell us for an NRG weekend
Event name and start time, overnight count, car count, and whether you are ridesharing to the gate. If the group is a youth tournament, say so — quiet hours still apply even if the game was loud. If it is Rodeo week, book as soon as you have ticket dates; the calendar does not care that you “always stay on Airbnb.”
We host in Houston. We will tell you if the house is the wrong fit (parking, quiet street, no parties). Ask for NRG drop-off timing the same way you would ask for a Medical Center drop-off: a real clock, not a vibe.
